The team carried out a thorough commercial analysis of the works (including in excess of 100 variations) to examine and demonstrate entitlement to an Extension of Time, prolongation costs and delay and disruption costs.
Our analysis included sophisticated and detailed forensic planning to identify critical delays arising from the variations and Employer delays such as late provided equipment.
Following the completion of the detailed forensic planning exercise, Adrian Piple interrogated both site and payroll records to establish quantum with regards to the delay periods, including detailed calculations and narratives to support positions and demonstrate entitlement.
To encourage settlement of the account, Adrian Pipeline also prepared a high-level “Negotiation Bible” to summarise the issues in dispute, assess the strengths and weaknesses of both parties’ positions and proposing a commercially pragmatic solution.
